SUSPECT #1: Kevin Moon Young Lee, 33-year old San Jose resident
SUSPECT #2: Eun Chong Chung, 29-year old Milpitas resident
SUSPECT #3: Niccolo Paolo Bartido, 34-year old San Jose resident
On September 18, 2019, at approximately 04:43 A.M., a Milpitas Police lieutenant contacted Kevin Lee, Eun Chung, and Niccolo Bartido in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn & Suites, located at 1100 Cadillac Court in Milpitas. Kevin Lee initially provided a false identity, but a records check on his true identity revealed he had a felony bench warrant from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety for identity theft. Officers searched Lee and located crystal methamphetamine for sales and drug paraphernalia. Officers searched two vehicles associated to the suspects and located additional narcotics for sales, including crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy pills, and heroin. Additionally, during a search of the vehicles, officers located drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and mail, identification cards, and credit cards that appeared to be stolen. Chung also had $1000 in cash hidden on her person.
Lee was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for possession of methamphetamine for sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, and for the felony warrant. Chung was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for possession of narcotics for sales and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Bartido was cited and released for being in possession of drug paraphernalia.
