#LASD Arrest Parents in the Death of their 4-year-old Son, City of Palmdale
Homicide investigators are announcing the arrest of Suspect Jose Cuatro and Suspect Ursula Juarez for the murder of their son, Victim Noah Cuatro.
From the onset of the investigation, homicide investigators worked tirelessly reviewing evidence and conducting interviews.
This investigation was initiated after Palmdale Station deputies received a call for service on July 5, 2019, that a four-year-old boy (Victim Noah Cuatro) was transported to Palmdale Regional Medical Center following a possible drowning. According to the parents, the child was discovered motionless in the community pool located on the 1200 block of East Avenue S, Palmdale, CA, County of Los Angeles.
According to the hospital medical staff, they observed evidence of injuries to Victim Noah Cuatro’s body that was suspicious in nature and consistent with possible abuse.
On July 6, 2019, at approximately 12:40 a.m., Victim Noah Cuatro was transported to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Later that morning, Victim Noah Cuatro was pronounced deceased at 8:01 a.m., and a suspicious death investigation was initiated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Homicide Bureau.
On September 24, 2019, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office ruled Victim Noah Cuatro’s death a Homicide.
On September 26, 2019, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Suspect Jose Cuatro (Booking #5757196) and Suspect Ursula Juarez (Booking #5757194), were arrested for the murder of Victim Noah Cuatro. The suspects were subsequently booked at Palmdale Sheriff’s Station. A search warrant was served at the suspects’ residence in an attempt to recover any additional evidence related to Victim Cuatro’s murder.
The facts of this investigation will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration. This investigation is ongoing.
