Deputies Apprehend Two Female Suspects

On September 26, 2019 at approximately 1:00 pm, Walnut/Diamond Bar station deputies responded to the Cube Smart Storage facility in Walnut regarding a disturbance call.  While at the location, deputies observed two women driving by in a vehicle.  The deputies conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle for vehicle code violations.  During the stop the deputies conducted a license plate check of the vehicle and discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Redondo Beach.  The driver of the vehicle exited the car and immediately away. Patrol deputies contained the area and located the woman hiding in a nearby business complex and apprehended her without incident.  A search of the vehicle was conducted and narcotics were located.  Both women were arrested and charged with Taking a Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Heroin.    https://bit.ly/2ngov1e
