The Monterey Park Police Department Communication Center is currently experiencing a power outage. All of the non-emergent 7 digit phone lines are currently not working. If you attempt to call on any of those numbers, you will get a busy tone. Please use 9-1-1 to report any incidents (non-emergent and emergent) until this problem has been corrected.

All 9-1-1 calls are currently being transferred to surrounding agencies to be answered; however, the Monterey Park Police Department and Fire Department will still be handling calls for service with in the City.

Edison has been notified and attempting to correct the problem as soon as possible.

At this time, it does not appear that any other portions of the City are affected by the power outage.
