The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of Minnesota and Wisconsin, including the following areas, in Minnesota, Carlton, southern St. Louis, Pine, and southern Aitkin counties. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, Sawyer, and Washburn counties.

* Until noon CDT today.

* Heavy rain from thunderstorms this morning will fall on already saturated soils.

* If you encounter water over roads, turn around and don't drown.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WASHBURN ... PRICE ... SAWYER ... SOUTH AITKIN ... BURNETT ... BAYFIELD ... PINE ... IRON ... ASHLAND ... CARLTON/SOUTH ST. LOUIS ... DOUGLAS
