The Monroe Police Department advises to AVOID the Still Rd area on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 7AM to 3PM due to multiple road closures for a large funeral detail taking place at Sacred Heart Church.
The funeral detail is expected to cause major traffic backups and congestion in and around the area. The following streets will be closed for the duration of the funeral detail:
1. The entire length of Still Rd.
2. Orange Turnpike will be closed from Still Rd to Harriman Heights Rd.
3. Pine Tree Rd will be closed from Still Rd to Winchester Dr (access will be allowed to Pine Tree School).
4. Stage Rd will be closed from Rye Hill Rd to Still Rd.
5. The entire length of Reynolds Rd.
Several officers will be located in around the road closures to help detour motorists.
Instructions:
Alternate travel routes should be considered.
