Synopsis: A 55 year old male driving a 2019 Ford Fusion was at 2900 Laning Road in the southbound right turn lane. A 60 year old male was on the southwest corner of 1900 Rosecrans Street, crossing Rosecrans Street eastbound in the crosswalk. The driver had a green turn light and the pedestrian had the cross signal. The pedestrian was in the cross walk when the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious, life threatening head trauma. DUI was not a factor. SDPD's Traffic Division responded and are investigating the collision

Synopsis: A 57 year old male was riding his motorized bicycle southbound in the two-way bicycle lane, adjacent to northbound lanes of Harbor Drive. For an unknown reason, the male overturned and fell off his motorized bicycle. The male sustained an open skull fracture, multiple brain bleeds, and multiple spine fractures. His injuries are not life threatening. SDPD's Traffice Division responded and are investigating the collision.
