On Friday, October 4, 2019, Cumberland school officials asked us to speak with a student. The 10 year old student, who walked to school alone for the first time, reported that a man was following her for several blocks. She told the officer that she walked across the Cahill baseball field and that the man appeared to pick up his pace. She told the officer that she began to run and the man turned and ran away. The man did not talk to the girl or touch the girl. The student provided a non-specific description of an older white male and no description of a vehicle. We have had no other reports of this type of behavior. We will have our squads in the area as a preventative measure. If you have information about this reported incident please call 414 962 3830.
