The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Until 130 AM EDT.

* At 1154 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a slow moving band of heavy rainfall. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two to three inches of rain have already fallen in the past hour and an additional inch or two is possible before this heavy rainfall weakens.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Goldenrod, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Maytown and Oak Hill.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SEMINOLE, FL ... ORANGE, FL ... VOLUSIA, FL ... BREVARD, FL

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
