PG&E Power Shutoffs - Attention Pleasant Hill Residents: Pacific Gas & Electric on Monday evening narrowed down the area for a possible power shutoff starting Wednesday. The planned shutoff is prompted by heightened fire risk amid expected dry and windy conditions due to arrive Wednesday. In the Bay Area, the updated notice covers almost 160,000 customers in the counties of San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Alameda and Contra Costa, and about 130,000 in Solano, Sonoma and Napa counties.
