Update from TOWN OF WINDSOR: Power is on in Windsor. Red Flag Warning for extreme fire danger. High winds tonight.
PG&E confirmed that it implemented a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) at 12a.m. Wednesday morning across a significant portion of its service area in response to a widespread, severe wind event.
Most PG&E customers in Windsor were not impacted. However, the area including Home Depot and Walmart were included and are without power.
No additional PSPS planned outages are scheduled by PG&E in Sonoma County or the Town of Windsor. However, high winds are still anticipated later this evening into Thursday (10/10) early morning hours. It is possible there could be addional power outages resulting from power lines getting knocked down by high winds.
All residents are advised to continue to be alert and be prepared for potential power outages.
