UPDATE Public Safety Power Shutoffs. Shutdown has been pushed to 8:00pm Wednesday 10/9. PG & E advises customers could be without power for up to 5 days while re-energizing power lines.
MESSAGE FROM PG&E:
Gusty winds and dry conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk, are forecasted in approximately the next 12 to 24 hours and will impact electric service in portions of your county.
PG&E has made the decision to turn off power to local customers for safety beginning early Wednesday, October 9.Outages could last for multiple days. Maps of impacted areas are available atpge.com/pspseventmaps. We will continue to monitor conditions and will contact you with further updates. If we do need to turn off power for safety, we will work to restore power as soon as it is safe to do so.

Reminder! All signals without power are considered stop signs in all directions per the California Vehicle Code Section 21800 (d) (1) The driver of any vehicle approaching an intersection which has official traffic control signals that are inoperative shall stop at the intersection, and may proceed with caution when it is safe to do so.
(2) When two vehicles enter an intersection from different highways at the same time, and the official traffic control signals for the intersection are inoperative, the driver of the vehicle on the left shall yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on his or her immediate right, except that the driver of any vehicle on a terminating highway shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle on the intersecting continuing highway.
