Strong winds - Remnants of Typhoon Hagibis 
The National Weather Service has advised the City of expected weather forcast as the remnants of Typhoon Hagibis make their way north. Most of the storm will be passing into the Bering Sea where the effects will be most severe.
Strong winds are likely in the Aleutians, including Adak. Winds will peak Monday afternoon for the central Aleutians with sustained winds around 60 MPH and gusts between 70-80 MPH. Attached is an image of the forecast winds at noon Aleutian time.
