On 10/16/2019 the Washtenaw County Sheriff Office Police Service Dog Unit (PSDU) or Police K9 Team will be conducting PSD certifications in the Village of Manchester and a location just outside the village from 8am to 4pm.
The team will be certifying in K9 Tracking, Detection on Vehicles, Detection in Rooms, Obedience, Article Searches, Building Searches and Apprehension. During one of the events there will be simulated gun fire from a blank firing gun, no real ammunition will be used.
The certifications will not disrupt the normal daily activity in the village.
