Overnight two transformers malfunctioned, causing a large power outage on the north end of town. As a result, the traffic signal is out on North Highland Avenue at Van Cortland Avenue. An officer is there directing traffic but please drive carefully.

Con Edison is here and working on repairs. We do not have an estimated time of restoration but you can view the live outage map on their website for up to date information:
