As of 0500 ET today: A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from the Mississippi/Alabama border to Yankeetown Florida. This includes the following Florida Counties: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, Washington, Dixie, Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, Wakulla counties. A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours. A Storm Surge Warning is in effect from Indian Pass Florida to Clearwater Beach Florida. This includes the following Florida Counties: Citrus, Dixie, Franklin, Hernando, Jefferson, Levy, Pasco, Pinellas, Taylor, Wakulla counties. A Storm Surge Warning means there is a danger of life-threatening inundation, from rising water moving inland from the coastline, during the next 24 to 36 hours in the indicated locations.
