UPDATE (Mon, 10/21 4:45 PM) Palisades Fire - Malibu not threatened, PCH traffic not affected 
UPDATE: Monday, October 21, 4:45 PM:
Los Angeles City Fire Dept (LAFD) reports that the fire in Pacific Palisades is at approximately 40 acres with multiple agencies, including CAL Fire and Los Angeles County Fire Dept, providing mutual aid support.
A mandatory evacuation order was issued for the fire-adjacent neighborhood of approximately 200 homes. An emergency shelter was set up at the Palisades Recreation Center (851 Alma Real Dr, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272).
Malibu is currently not threatened and PCH traffic is moving normally. No further updates will be provided unless there are significant changes that may potentially impact Malibu.

Monday, October 21, 2019, 11:00 AM - City of Los Angeles Fire Department is currently responding to a vegetation fire in Pacific Palisades at Palisades Dr and Sunset Blvd. The fire is approximately one acre at this time. Los Angeles County Fire Dept is also responding as back-up.
