The City of Placerville has been notified by PG&E that we likely will be involved in another Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event for this Wednesday and Thursday. PG&E Meteorologist along with NWS are looking at another possible wind event coming in approximately Wednesday at 1700 hours.
The following is the estimate for time shutoff from PG&E:
El Dorado County
Weather event (1st period) - Wednesday 1700 to Thursday 1200 hours
Timing for De-energization - Wednesday, 1400-1700 hours
Impacted El Dorado customers - Approximately 40k (Contact PG&E to determine affected areas)
Community Resource Center (CRC's) – Pollock Pines and Georgetown. Location in Placerville to be determined.
