Teacher charged with sex related crime against student 
On 10-23-19 Gina N. Richey (35 years of age, residing in Terre Haute) turned herself in on a Vigo County warrant. Richey was charged with two counts of Child seduction Child care worker in sexual intercourse or other sexual conduct, a level 5 felony. This arrest stemmed from an investigation which began in Parke County in September, but later was determined to have taken place in Vigo County. At that point, the investigation was transferred to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office. The charges in this case allege that Richey (a teacher at Rosedale elementary) was having a sexual relationship with a student from Riverton Parke High School and that relationship had been going on for a length of time. Richey will appear in Vigo County court tomorrow.
