The heavy snow today has caused some hazardous driving conditions. Accidents are being reported on I-27 between Canyon and Amarillo. Motorist are driving too fast for conditions. Roadways in Canyon are slush covered. Driving viability is down to a quarter of a mile because of blowing snow. Drivers need to use extreme caution on their commute home. Roadways could freeze later in the evening, and through the night. Use extreme caution tomorrow as you travel to work, and school. All drivers should take time to clean off ALL windows on their car prior to venturing out.
