Public Safety Power Shutdown planned for parts of Fremont from approximately 6:00 p.m. October 26 to 2:00 p.m. October 28, 2019.
PG&E has announced a Public Safety Power Shutdown (PSPS) from approximately 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28. The plan and schedule is contingent upon weather conditions and patterns. Certain areas in Fremont, primarily east of Niles and Mission Blvd, and south to interstate 680 may be impacted. Please be advised that the impacted areas listed on the map may change. In response to the planned power outage, the City of Fremont will activate the Emergency Operations Center and coordinate efforts with multiple City departments to mitigate issues impacting our community.
