PG&E Has Confirmed Public Safety Power Shutoffs in Solano County
PG&E confirmed they will begin Public Safety Power Shutoffs in Solano County beginning around 6:00 PM or later today, Saturday, October 26, 2019. The weather is expected to pass by Monday, October 28, 2019, however, full power restoration may take several more days.
Solano County officials continue to monitor the situation and will provide information as it becomes available. Information will be shared via Alert Solano, Nixle, Social Media platforms, KUIC radio, and local news outlets.
PG&E will be opening a Community Resource Centers (CRC) at 2700 Maxwell Wy, Fairfield, CA 94533, and Lowe’s: 1751 E Monte Vista Ave, Vacaville, CA 95688 beginning Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. They are working to secure a Vallejo location as well. These locations will offer bottled water, restrooms, electronic device charging, Wi-Fi, flashlights, batteries, cell phone chargers, coffee, tea, non-perishable snacks and air-conditioned seating.
Solano County Library locations and the Suisun Kroc Center will also be available for electronic device charging during normal operating hours.
