**UPDATE** For all residents affected by the power outages, the Tice Valley Gym at 2055 Tice Valley Rd is open as a community resource till 8:00 p.m. **
A fast moving fire in Lafayette has resulted in evacuations of parts of the community around the Lafayette Tennis Club, with residents near Camino Diablo and Springbrook Road being told to leave.
At this point, there is no indication that Walnut Creek residents are in danger. We will provide updates as we receive them.
PG&E is beginning to restore power to some properties in Humboldt County and will move down through the North Bay inspecting equipment.
Although we expect the high winds to subside overnight, PG&E is looking at another potential shutoff for Tuesday and Wednesday.
