POWER SHUT OFF INFO
The Public Safety Power Shutoff is planned to continue through Monday (10/28/2019). Approximately 4,000 customers have lost power, primarily on the west side of the City. As PG&E monitors the current wind event, they are preparing for another similar event that is expected to begin early Tuesday (10/29/19) morning. We urge you to stay alert and prepare as the winds will continue throughout the day and could damage infrastructure and lead to expanded power interruptions.
TRAFFIC SAFETY ALERT
Petaluma has experienced power outages in much of the west side. Traffic signals at the following intersections are not working:
- Washington/Howard
- D Street/ 1st
- B Street/Petaluma Blvd South
- I Street/Petaluma Blvd South
- Mountain View/Petaluma Blvd South
- McNear/Petaluma Blvd South
- D Street/Sunnyslope
- Lakeville/Marina
We encourage residents to avoid these intersections if possible. Remember that when coming to a traffic signal that is not working, you must stop and treat it like a like a four-way stop signed intersection. If you are not part of the evacuation, please stay off the roads as much as possible. Get more traffic safety tips here.
