POWER RESTORATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN AT 8AM TOMORROW... *** WE ARE NOT SLATED TO BE AFFECTED BY THE NEXT PSPS EVENT TUESDAY *** Here is a message from Anzar High Administration: Good evening Anzar Students and Families, We are in the middle of a statewide shut down of power by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). The power outage has impacted the two communities in our District. The Power went down in our community on Saturday evening, October 26, 2019, and is not expected to be on until after 2 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2019. Anzar High School is on two different power grids; the well is on a different grid than the power. The well provides water to the school and is shut down due to the power outage. The District and school site administration has decided to close school on Monday, October 28, 2019. At this time, school is anticipated to be in session on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, with transportation running according to the regular schedule.
