PUBLIC SAFETY POWER SHUTOFFS – RESOURCE GUIDE
The PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) are continuing to impact areas throughout the Bay Area and our Office of Emergency Services (OES) is closely monitoring the shutoffs.
Although Sunnyvale is not impacted at this time, we want to continue to provide you with resources and safety tips in the instance that the shutoffs do impact Sunnyvale. Being prepared is always better than being scared.
Please visit https://www.chhs.ca.gov/blog/2019/10/25/public-safety-power-shutoffs-resource-guide/ for a comprehensive list of resources and tips relating to the power shutoffs. If you have friends or family in other areas that are impacted, please share this resource guide with them.
As we continue to do our part to prepare to care for our city following a disaster, we ask that you too take simple steps to being prepared. To learn about training opportunities and begin preparedness efforts please visit our OES Preparedness Page at https://bit.ly/2Px5PXl.
