Halloween is almost here! Officers will be out in force in the neighborhoods tomorrow and will be handing out blue glowsticks and candy while supplies last during #TrickOrTreat hours of 4pm-8pm. Flag an officer down to get yours and a great photo op too!  Here are some safety tips:

• Make sure children are accompanied by an adult
• Only visit homes with porch lights on
• Walk on the side walk.  Carefully cross the street at a corner.
• Have a flashlight and/or reflective clothing
• Have an adult inspect all treats before eating
• Drivers please slow down and watch for kids darting into the street, especially around parked cars and other obstructions.
• Call police (630-897-8705 or 911) about suspicious behavior
• Have a spooktacular time!
