Armed robbery
At approximately 9:15 this morning the employees of the Fifth Third bank located at 2197 Cobb Parkway South called 911 to report a robbery. A tall slender male entered the bank shortly after they opened. No other customers were inside at the time the robbery occurred. The suspect walked immediately to the teller, pointing a black semiautomatic hand gun at her while stating repeatedly “this is a robbery.” The suspect gathered an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot. This suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
