At 9:25 am units received a report of a house fire in the 30000 block of Cumming Ct. Units arrived on scene and observed a home that was fully engulfed and several homes being threatened. Kern County Fire aggressively fought the fire with the help of air support. Mandatory evacuations were conducted by local law enforcement agencies.
At 10:45am forward progress of the Thief Fire was stopped and the mandatory evacuation orders were lifted.
There are no evacuations or restrictions in the Stallion Springs area.
