Halloween is Tonight: Cushing Police provide Halloween safety tips to help ensure a safe night of trick or treating.
Cushing – The Cushing Police Department would like to encourage all participants to have a fun, yet safe Halloween tonight. Interim Police Chief Claxton asks for drivers to be more aware and watch for the trick-or-treaters that will be going house to house and crossing the streets.
The Cushing Police Department encourages the community members to be safety aware all year but ask that they pay even more attention on Halloween. Due to all the overall excitement of the night, the numerous community activities and the heavy residential foot traffic. Some trick-or-treaters are so excited to make their ways through these events and neighborhoods trick-or-treating that they may forget safety tips.
The Cushing Police Department would like to recommend the following safety tips.

- Watch for children in the street and on medians.
