Resources available to help members of the community to recover from the recent extended power outage:

• ParentsCAN, a Family Resource Center, is available from 12-7 PM today (Thursday, Oct 31) at the Napa County Health & Human Services offices located at City Hall (first floor) to provide resource information for community members in need.

• Mentis is also available at the Napa County Health & Human Services offices located at City Hall (first floor) to provide counselors for anyone in need of support from until 7 PM, this evening (Thursday, Oct. 31), No appointment is necessary. 

• The next food distribution will be at the Free Friday Market, tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 1),2-4 PM, at Holy Family Catholic Church (101 Antonina Ave.) in American Canyon, with fresh produce and more. Please bring your own bag.

• If you are a recipient of CalFresh and your food spoiled due to a power outage, please visit the Napa County Health & Human Services offices at City Hall or call (707) 253-4511 for assistance. 

• American Canyon residents whose food waste needs exceed the capacity of their trash bin should contact Recology directly by calling (707) 552-3110. Food waste needs are being addressed on a case-by-case basis.
