* WHAT...South to Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE...In New Jersey, Hudson, Eastern Bergen, Eastern Essex and Eastern Union Counties. In New York, Southern Westchester, New York (Manhattan), Bronx and Richmond (Staten Island) Counties. * WHEN...Tonight.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will bring down scattered limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

Avoid downed power lines, even in a power outage, as they may be live. Report any downed lines to the Police Department, and any outages to PSE&G (1-800-436-7734). Report power outages to the Police Department ONLY if you observe smoke or fire, OR require power for life-support equipment.
