NOBLESVILLE, IN - On November 3, 2019 at approximately 4:33 p.m., police officers and firefighters from the Noblesville Police & Fire Departments responded to the intersection of 181st Street & Mallery Road (Noblesville) in reference to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a single vehicle. Officers and firefighters arrived on the scene a short time later and began to investigate.

Based on witness statements and evidence at the scene, it appears that a 2012 Subaru Impreza was traveling southbound on Mallery Road when the driver failed to stop at the intersection of 181st Street. As a result, the vehicle traveled off the roadway and crashed into a wooded area just south of 181st Street.

The driver of the Subaru is identified as Patrick R. Lattal, 27, of Fishers, IN. Lattal was transported by ground ambulance to River Health (Noblesville) and later by air ambulance to St. Vincent (Indianapolis) with life-threatening injuries. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

Investigators from the NPD Crash Reconstruction Unit were summons to the scene to collect evidence and gather information. As a result of the investigation, the intersection of 181st Street & Mallery Road was restricted/closed until approximately 7:15 p.m.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
