Advisory

The City of St. Louis will test the outdoor warning sirens at 11 AM, THIS IS ONLY A TEST. #STLWX #ReadySTL

The City of St. Louis's monthly outdoor warning siren test will be conducted at 11:00 AM, this is only a test. It's November and we just fell back and reset our clocks yesterday. You also should have installed new batteries in your clocks, weather radio, smoke detectors, and any battery-powered items in your emergency kit. Now is also the time to start adding cold-weather items to your emergency kits, such as blankets (especially in your auto kit) and extra gloves and hats.

You can report whether or not you heard the test by contacting the Citizen's Service Bureau at (314) 622-4800, on Twitter @STLCSB or on the city website www.stlouis-mo.gov please give specifics on whether you were indoor/outdoor and an approximate address of where you are. You may also report issues with the siren system at any time by contacting the Citizen's Service Bureau.
