UPDATE: Suspect in larceny at Smith’s Drugs has been identified and arrested
UPDATE: On November 6, 2019, Keith Michael Lusk, of Smith Rd. in Columbus, NC was arrested and charged with larceny in connection with the larceny of a donation jar reported to FCPD on November 4, 2019 at Smith’s Drugs, located at 139 East Main St. in Forest City, NC. Lusk was issued a $1,000 unsecured bond.

Forest City Police Department is requesting the assistance identifying a person of interest believed to be involved in a larceny incident at Smith Drugs this afternoon. The subject is believe to have taken a donation jar containing donations Smith Drugs has been receiving to aid an out of work Town of Forest City employee.
