Palmdale Station and DMV Investigators Conduct Operation Aimed at Vehicle Registration and Stolen Vehicles
On November 6th, 2019, Palmdale Station personnel, in conjunction with investigators from the Department of Motor Vehicles, conducted a license plate enforcement operation, aimed at confirming current vehicle registration and detecting stolen vehicles. The areas focused on were the high-volume commuter traffic areas of 10th Street West/ Ranch Vista Boulevard and 47th Street East/ Avenue S in the city of Palmdale. The results of the operation were as follows:
Warrant Arrests: 1
Citations/Arrests for Driver License Violations: 2
Citations for Miscellaneous Traffic Violations: 108
Towed Vehicles: 28
