Delta College Secure Mode Drill – Thursday November 7, 2019 2:00 PM

Delta College will be conducting a Secure Mode Drill Thursday November 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM. This drill will be conducted on Main Campus, at the Downtown Saginaw Center, at the Downtown Bay City Planetarium and Learning Center, and at the Midland Center.

A secure mode drill is a test of the College’s ability to secure the exterior entrances if there were a potential threat outside of the College.

• All exterior entrance doors will be locked.
• No one will be allowed to enter the College.
• People inside the College are encouraged not to exit.
• All normal instruction and business will continue inside of the College.

The drill will be conducted on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM. The drill is anticipated to last approximately 30 minutes.

There will be a Public Address announcement when the drill is commenced and when it has been concluded.

This drill is designed to test Delta College’s current capability to secure the College against an outside threat. The drill will assist us in identifying areas of weakness and in finding ways to improve our capabilities.
