INCIDENT: Possession of controlled substances for sale
Commit a felony while on bail
LOCATION: 700 block of Forest Shade Road, Crestline
SUSPECT(S): Justin Brien, a 38-year-old resident of Crestline
SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 9, 2019, at approximately 11:00PM, deputies from the Twin Peaks Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant in the 700 block of Forest Shade Road in the community of Crestline. During the search warrant, deputies recovered plastic baggies, an electronic scale, US currency in different denominations, suspected methamphetamine, and other drug paraphernalia. In addition to the narcotics, deputies recovered a cane sword, which is a prohibited weapon in the State of California. They also located several pieces of suspected stolen electronics, and license plates from six states which belonged to rental companies.
Deputies arrested Justin Brien at the residence. Brien was out on bail, from an arrest two weeks prior. During that incident, Brien was arrested for possession of controlled substances for sales while armed with a loaded firearm which was stolen.
Brien was arrested for violation of Health and Safety Code Section 11378, possession of controlled substances for sale and violation of Penal Code Section 12022.1(b), commit a felony while on bail. Brien was booked at Central Detention Center where he is being held on a $150,000.00 bail.
