On Saturday November 9th, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Morgan Hill Police were dispatched to the area of Church St and Edmundson on a report of multiple gun shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers located an occupied vehicle and a nearby residence that had been struck by gun fire. The parked vehicle was occupied by two subjects prior to the shooting. One of the occupants of the vehicle, was grazed by a bullet and treated for their injuries and later released. Witnesses at the scene stated two unknown subjects approached from behind and began shooting at the vehicle and home. No one inside the home was struck by the gunfire. Immediately after the shooting, the suspects fled the area and are currently outstanding. Officers located several pieces of evidence at the scene and are actively investigating the incident. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
