Michigan Avenue Downtown Streetscape Project
The Village is holding two opportunities to review and comment on the updated streetscape concept plan for Michigan Avenue. The project will include the full width of the right-of-way between Gremps and LaGrave Streets. The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2021.

 
Comments will also be accepted outside these meetings at any time. The plans will be on display at Village Hall during regular business hours from November 26^th at noon through December 9th.  Please contact Village Manager Sarah Moyer-Cale with any questions or comments by email at [email protected] or by calling 269-657-3148.

Holiday Lighting Contest
It’s the time of year again for the Village Holiday Lighting Contest! Whatever your theme, enter your home in the annual contest; outdoor decorating is required.

8 Home Winners – 2 in each zone (NE, SE, SW and NW)
   -4 random drawing winners – 50% paid on December electric bill.
   -4 appearance winners (judging) – 100% paid December electric bill.
4 Business Winners – 2 random – $50 & 2 judged -$100 paid on Dec bill.
   -Judging December 11^th through December 22^nd (Lights must be on!)
   -All must enter by December 6^th 2019 at the Village Hall
 
Winter Parking:
Winter Parking regulations will be in effect from December 1^st through March 15^th.
 
Sec. 36–31. – Parking on streets, alleys and other public places.
No person shall park or leave any motor vehicle or trailer on any street, alley, right-of-way, public parking lot, or place of public access maintained by the village for vehicular use between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. between the dates of December 1 to the following March 15, except in such areas as may be specifically designated as overnight parking areas.
