Night Closures at I-805 and SR-54 Interchange November 17-27
Nightly traffic closures will occur at the Interstate 805 and State Route 54 interchange beginning Sunday, November 17, through Wednesday, November 27. The closure will occur between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. but will NOT be in effect on Friday and Saturday nights.
The closures are required to accommodate demolition work on the Sweetwater River Bridge as part of the improvements being made to the bridge.
Motorists will be provided with advanced notice of approaching work zones via portable message signs. Detour signage will be in place and motorists traveling along I-805 can expect construction noise and heavy equipment in the area.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit in construction work zones is 55 mph. Your patience is appreciated during the construction project.
