Information concerning fire at Minooka High School - Central Campus (Minooka, IL)

Minooka Fire Protection District responded to MCHS Central Campus for a report of a fire inside a bathroom. A multi-agency response was initiated and all students and staff were evacuated. The fire crew quickly extinguished the fire. All students and staff were accounted for. three (3) students were evaluated for minor medical issues unrelated to the fire.
Once fire personnel deemed the school safe all students were returned to the gymnasium. Students at Central Campus will be released early, starting at 11:15 AM. Please refer to MCHS social media communication for release information.
