Staff from CPD just concluded participation in a county-wide conference call regarding the upcoming PSPS. The number of potentially impacted customers has been reduced to approx. 18,000. Santa Cruz County has been designated as Time Period 9 for this weather event, and the following timelines are provided to the public via PG&E. 11/19 at 5pm- decision to de-energize (24-hour notice) 11/20 at 8pm- de-energization initiated 11/21 at 8am- initiating re-energization protocols (all-clear) Please note that these are projected timelines based upon the currently predicted weather conditions for 11/20.
