Felon Out On Bail Arrested For Possession Of Illegal Narcotics For Sale
On November 19, 2019, at approximately 11:30 PM, Arroyo Grande Police Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a pick-up truck for a vehicle code violation, in the 100 block of S. Halcyon Rd. Officers learned that the driver, identified as 42-year-old Aaron Charles Kirby of Arroyo Grande, was currently on Parole. Officers conducted a search of Kirby’s person and vehicle and located approximately 2 ounces of methamphetamine, approximately 13 grams of heroin packaged for sales, and other evidence indicating Kirby was involved in the sales of narcotics. AGPD officers were assisted by a Pismo Beach Police Department K9 in the search.
Earlier this year, on July 8th, Kirby had been arrested for narcotics sales related offenses after officers found him in possession of large quantities of methamphetamine and other evidence of narcotics sales. Kirby was currently out on bail for the July 8th arrest, awaiting court proceedings.
Kirby was taken into custody and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony charges of 11378 H&S – Possession of methamphetamine for sales, 11351 H&S – Possession of heroin for sales, 3056 PC – Violating Parole, and 12022.1 PC – Committing a felony while out on bail, and a misdemeanor charge of 11364(a) H&S - possession of drug paraphernalia.
