On Monday, November 25, 2019 at 6:28 AM, the West Covina Police Department received a call from a passerby in the 900 block of W. Service Avenue, West Covina, regarding a man down.
Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a male Hispanic, in his mid-20’s, with a gunshot wound to his upper torso laying on the sidewalk. The West Covina Fire Department responded to the location and pronounced the male dead on scene. Detectives were then notified, and the investigation is currently ongoing. The male’s identity is not known at this time.
