(2) Map your route in advance and be prepared for busy roads
(3) Keep anything of value in the trunk or out of plain view.
(4) If traveling with children, remind them not to talk to strangers.
(5)Have roadside assistance information handy, in case an incident occurs on the road.
(6)In case of an emergency, keep a cell phone and charger with you at all times
(7) Don't speed and keep your distance between vehicles.
(8) Get plenty of rest for the drive.
