The NWS has issued a TORNADO WATCH for the City of St. Louis until 12 a.m. 11/27/19. #stlwx

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS EXTENDED TORNADO WATCH 695 TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING AREAS UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT
Thunderstorms are expected through this evening and into early
Wednesday morning. Some of the storms may be severe capable of
producing tornadoes and damaging winds.

Late tonight and through Wednesday morning, winds will increase with
gusts up to 60 mph across portions of central and northwest Missouri
as well as west central and southwest Illinois. Elsewhere, winds
gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Strong and gusty winds will continue on Wednesday, and the High Wind
Warning and Wind Advisory will remain in effect until 300 PM.
Sustained wind gusts of 50 to mph are expected.

Instructions:

Stay aware of changing conditions and additional watches and warnings. Be prepared to take shelter immediately when prompted. Make sure you have a portable radio, preferably a NOAA Weather Radio, for weather alerts and updates. Seek shelter in the lowest level of your home, such as a basement or storm cellar. If you don't have a basement, go to an inner hallway, a smaller inner room or a closet. Keep away from all windows and glass doorways.
