Public Works
Projects—
- Pearl Street Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program Improvements – All sidewalk work is now completed. Street lighting is delayed until equipment is able to be furnished to the jobsite. Staff were able to receive an update from the General Contractor and equipment is tentatively scheduled to be furnished to the site the first week of December. Punch List work is still outstanding and will be completed throughout the winter and spring.
- 2019 Road Resurfacing Program – The project is 100% complete. Due to some value engineering adjustments that were made during construction, staff are projecting that the final contract value will be $80k-$90k under the awarded value.
- Curran Road Highway Safety Improvement Program Project –The proposed guardrail work has been delayed due to a potential conflict with an AT&T phone cable. AT&T staff have been on site and have determined that the abandonment of the existing cable will be necessary. Completion of this work is yet to be scheduled and will be completed upon AT&T scheduling crews for cable splicing. Punch List work is still outstanding and will be completed throughout the winter and spring.
