* WHAT...All types of mixed precipitation are expected, including
freezing rain, sleet and snow. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Ice accumulations
from a light glaze up to one tenth of an inch are possible.
* WHERE...The southwest and south-central Texas Panhandle and much
of the South Plains. The snow and sleet accumulations will favor
the southwest Texas Panhandle and northwest South Plains, with
little to no sleet and snow expected across the central and
southern South Plains. Light ice accumulations will be possible
anywhere in the advisory.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon CST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Elevated surfaces
like bridges and overpasses will be the first to become
slippery.
