* Flood Warning for Urban Areas and Small Streams in... Clinton County in south central Illinois... Marion County in south central Illinois... Washington County in south central Illinois...
* Until 400 PM CST.
* At 1001 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain was falling over the area. The heavy rain will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Centralia, Salem, Breese, New Baden, Carlyle, Nashville, Trenton, Aviston, Okawville, St. Rose, Sandoval, Germantown, Albers, Wamac, Central City, Odin, Beckemeyer, Kinmundy, Lively Grove and Irvington. East Fork Kaskaskia River near Fairman has already risen above flood stage. Little Crooked Creek near New Minden is nearing flood stage. Crooked Creek near Hoffman is nearing flood stage. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 109 and 127. Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 34 and 61. This also includes Carlyle Lake Recreational Area.
